Conexão Agro was created in 2011 by a group of Master’s Studies in Rural Economy of theFederal University of Ceará. The initial focus was to conduct a research on techniques, management practices, and marketing used by the existing cooperatives of beekeepers of the Ceara state.

The research results showed that rural producers, even when organized in cooperatives and associations still lacked good management practices, technical knowledge, and effective marketing. Based on those results, the company was established to provide consulting and training to beekeepers, cooperatives, and associations. As time progressed, the executive team of Conexão Agro decided to also commercialize organic honey and became a supplier to the Brazilian domestic market.

Today we can proudly say we have one of the best structures in the country to receive, process, and store organic honey that meets very strict requirements, which makes us capable of supplying not only to the Brazilian domestic market, but also the very demanding international market worldwide.

Our Structure: Our factory has a structure that serves the most demanding markets and counts with a work team with extensive experience and competence in the sector.

Our Beekeepers: All beekeepers who supply honey to the Conexão Agro are certified organic and have a strict quality control, in addition to the traceability and sustainability that we make in all stages of their production.

Our Location: Conexão Agro is strategically located in the city of Crato, in the state of Ceará, near our beekeepers, facilitating the disposal of honey to our factory.
